The sky growled at me.
Commanded my attention roaring in from my right side.
Black billows and gray ghosts.
I only wanted simmer and sun,
The tingle of energy pulsing through my iridescent skin.
A swift stretch towards the sky,
Body sprawled on a hippie’s blanket… a father’s memento.
As I dreamed of glistening skin and squinting eyes-
Then called the clouds.
I hear you!
I hear your moaning exhale and feel your callous wind.
It’s just so selfish to ruin something so beautiful.
